About our relapse prevention coach – Phil

I started coaching addiction & Recovery 15 years ago. I have life experience myself through drug and alcohol addiction, and a life coach helped me understand the cycles of addiction, and why one drink caused so much harm to me and my family. Overtime I understand the that I have an illness to substances and one drink or drug would set of an allergy, and I could not stop using substances until everything was gone. I just wanted to drink like a gentleman, but this never happened. My coach showed me the steps to follow and we worked through a relapse prevention plan.

Today I help others to understand drug and alcohol addiction, and what this does to our brain and body. I was given an opportunity and this is why I like to share and work with others that are going through the trauma I did.

Relapse for Rehab Aftercare

The last thing we want to see, is clients relapse from a drug or alcohol addiction, and have to go through the drug and alcohol addiction treatment again. Our programmes cover all addictions. It makes sense for a client to continue a programme after rehab or a detox. This is an affordable way to abstain from drugs or alcohol. It is very hard stopping an addiction you have had for a long time. Or in some cases a short time. The other thing to remember is that clients who finish treatment for a drug or alcohol addiction are terrified for going back to it. The fare of:

  1. Letting everyone down
  2. Feeling hopeless
  3. The fear of feeling ill again
  4. Worried about losing their family and friends

Relapse is a big issue for clients who have been through drug and alcohol addiction treatment. By giving them this extra bit of help, it could make all the difference.  To discuss the program, or more information.  Tel: 07811  606 606 (24 hours)
